"In the end, she became more than what she expected. She became the journey, and like all journeys, she did not end, she just simply changed directions and kept going." R. M. Drake

Capuchin Monkey - Day 6
Day Six: A photo of an animal you'd love to keep as a pet
Well I'd like to keep lots of animals as pets but I've always loved these little guys:
ironic that Jenny would invoke "gremlin" -- "Gremlin" happens to be the exact name of a capuchin baby. What a coincidence her name is "Gremlin" and she is only 3 weeks old, she is completely hairless, and even MORE odd looking yet has these adorable ears sticking up (almost Gollum-y). I saw her on the Nat Geo Wild channel (ch 155 in my area) and is part of their 24/7 show. it shows her being swiped at by other capuchins (poor Gremlin!) because of her low social order! And the "King Bad-Ass Alpha Male" looked around for signs of deference and as the storyline goes, they showed Gremlin demonstrating her first sign of fealty & deference (by chattering her teeth) they said it means, "excuse me sorry for existing" but Gremlin is so hairless and so amusing to look at, you just want to protect her tiny little self. You gotta watch this if you love capuchins!
So stinkin' cute! They look like a cross between a human baby and a Gremlin.
